Day by Day
Day 1:
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
You will be met at the airport upon arrival in Arusha by an Alkanjaoi tour and Safari guide who will then transport you to your hotel in Arusha town and ready for the next day of your 12-day Tanzania and Zanzibar adventure.
The remainder of the day is open for you to Relax, take a stroll, and soak in the sights and sounds because tomorrow will be a big and adventurous day. Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort and Spur.
Day 2:
Arusha to Manyara National park
What a fantastic 12-day Tanzania and Zanzibar adventure are yet to begin. We will leave Arusha and travel to Lake Manyara with our packed lunch boxes after a substantial breakfast and a briefing from your tour guide. You’ll get to view some lovely scenery on the way. The lake takes about 70% of the park’s total area.
The diversified ecology supports a wide variety of animals, including the Big Five such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo. It also features groundwater forests, acacia woodland, and open grassland along the lakeside. You will make a pit stop for a picnic lunch in the afternoon while admiring the breathtaking views of the park in a specially designated area. continue your game drive through the park, which is renowned for its elusive tree-climbing lions that live in the forest between the lake and the Rift Valley.
During the game drive and watch out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. More than 400 different species of birds can be found there, making it a haven for ornithologists.

Day 3:
Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
What a wonderful day! After breakfast in your lodge in Manyara National park, you will start your drive towards Serengeti National park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. After reaching Serengeti you will do a game drive until mid-afternoon, then break for lunch.
After eating, there’s time for a little rest, then we back out on the plain looking for the more big game. We follow the trail of the migrating wildebeest through the afternoon. After the day’s experiences, your guide will take you to a lodge for dinner and overnight Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 4:
Serengeti Central area
What a beautiful day with the allure of birds on an African grassland. When you’re prepared, an African breakfast will be served. After that, you’ll begin your full-day game drive in the renowned Serengeti, where you’ll see the Wildebeest Migration, which is considered to be the eighth wonder of the world.
A long chain of migration can be seen moving in the southwestern direction. In the afternoon you will stop for a picnic lunch and take some minutes to relax before continuing your game viewing, paying attention to how the migrants are moving toward the park’s southwest corner.
The short grass and water are shared by 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles, and 200,000 zebras, which is a record. The millions of animals that live in the Serengeti share the short grass and water, which is their source of sustenance. Day 5:
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Rim
Another early start, but it’s worthwhile, we promise. To get back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a sizable UNESCO World Heritage Site located in a 260km-wide volcano crater, we go on a game drive after breakfast. Olduvai Gorge is a possible visit for history. historians and archaeology enthusiasts, where some of the earliest known human remains have been discovered.
The location, which our genetic predecessors inhabited around two million years ago, continues to provide information about the beginnings of Homo sapiens. We can also stop by the Maasai Boma to experience authentic African culture and way of life. We ventured right up to the rim of the Ngorongoro crater as we continue our exploration after having lunch while capturing the views scenic views of the rim.

Day 6:
Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire
Today will also begin quite early. Following breakfast, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, stopping en route to visit a traditional Maasai settlement, take in some traditional dance, and get a glimpse of what life is like on the African plains. After that, we make our way down to the crater floor to look for additional big games.
We will have our picnic lunch in the late afternoon on the crater floor at one of the several locations close to the Hippo Pool. We may also be fortunate enough to see the endangered Black Rhinoceros.
After all the day’s activities, we exit the crater and drive to a lodge for a flavorsome dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp.
Day 7:
Tarangire National Park to Arusha
What a fantastic day it is, and as always, the best was saved for last. We start on our last game drive through the Tarangire National Park after a satisfying breakfast. African elephants, the largest beasts in the world, are well known and frequently seen in Tarangire. The famous Baobab trees, which resemble shrubs and can reach heights of 30 m, are also scattered around the park.
We will begin our journey back to Arusha once we have spent a full day exploring Tarangire and having our packed lunch. Additionally, if you get back in time, you can have a sundowner while watching the sunset on the gorgeous sundowner at a lodge in Arusha Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort and Spa.
Day 8:
Arusha Airport - Zanzibar
Your final day in mainland Tanzania is today, so after a delectable breakfast, you can choose to go on a quick town tour or go to the Maasai market to look around and maybe even make some shopping.
Later you will depart to Zanzibar by flying out of Arusha Airport, Dinner and Overnight at Dream of Zanzibar Resort on All Inclusive.
Day 9:
Cultural Excursionsin Zanzibar
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a tour Of Stone Town in Zanzibar, there are numerous things to do including spice and prison island trips. You will visit the most picturesque areas of the Old Town on a full-day tour. The usage of coral stone as the primary building material gave rise to the name of this town with a vibrant cultural heritage. The historical roots and effects may be sensed at every turn of the journey because this town is the oldest in all of East Africa.
Later in the day, you will stop for lunch in one of the hotels in Zanzibar for a real taste of Swahili dishes, later you can move on to the Palace Museum, which was the Sultan’s palace, starting from the House of Wonders, one of Stone Town’s well-known attractions. The bar, Fred Mercury’s house, the Dr. Livingstone House, the Arab Fort, and the Hamamni Persian baths are merely a few of the numerous sights in this abandoned town.
After all the excursions your guide will drive you to the Resort for dinner and overnight at Dream of Zanzibar Resort.
Day 10:

Day 11:
Beach Activities
Would you like to swim or snorkel among dolphins and sea turtles? When you visit Zanzibar Island, you are on the correct route. Following a delectable breakfast, you’ll travel to the Nungwi turtle sanctuary and aquarium, where you’ll experience the priceless adventure as you get to swim with and pet the turtles.
You can then take a short tour to Matemwe Island for snorkeling and scuba diving after that. Later, unwind at the beach before having dinner and spending the night at your lodge Dream of Zanzibar Resort.
Day 12:
Departure
Would you like to swim or snorkel among dolphins and sea turtles? When you visit Zanzibar Island, you are on the correct route.
