Marangu Route, commonly known as the Coca Cola route is more popular because can be achieved in few days and has permanent sleep huts at the campsites. This oldest route is considered to be one of the easiest paths to the summit, given its gradual slope and direct path.
Our expert guides will ensure everything goes smoothly from top to bottom while you enjoy the challenge of summiting Kilimanjaro. Being only 5 days long, it can be slightly more challenging to acclimatize because the paths are more direct than others.
Summit night from Kibo Hut is steep and passes Gilman’s Point to Uhuru Peak. It is a shorter route with a steeper incline and less time for acclimatization it tends to have a lower summit success rate.
